COVID-19 Preemptive Measures

To all participants and families involved with the spring 2020 season:

The constant changes regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and the preemptive measures being adopted by schools, municipalities and other entities has impacted all of us and our plans in some capacity. Unfortunately, Lake Cities Girls Softball Association, in agreeance with our interlock partnership, has ultimately been put into a position to make these difficult decisions as well.

Effective immediately, all league practices and or games will be postponed until 3/30/2020, unless direction is given from another authority stating otherwise. Neither the city, nor county has issues any mandated closures at this time, but in an attempt to protect our players and the families of our players, the interlock has implemented a forward thinking decision that will hopefully allow us to salvage the season ahead with minimized impact. Please stay tuned as updated information will be given as received on this ever-evolving situation. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to resume operations as intended as soon as possible.
